Pencil on Canson Manga Trading card Stock.

Pencils done with 0.7 and  0.5 mechanical pencils using HB and H leads. 

Swords Out is a pencil sketch of a traditional manga character with 2 swords in a double back harness. Details like the headband, decorative circles, or the sword handles all add to the feel of a classic Manga piece. Manga appears simple and uncomplicated in its execution. However, subtle details can make the all the difference in creating a successful Manga illustration.
